How much does the GSC Compensate?
- Conferences: 900 USD
- Journals: 1200 USD
- Dissertations: 200 USD
What happens if a conference occurs during Summer/Winter Break
The GSC will accept Compensation Requests up to 1 month after the beginning of the following Semester.
What if the requested compensation from the GSC is not enough?
The Moody School of Graduate and Advanced Studies is also an excellent resource for students. Lyle GSC will coordinate with the Moody school to provide the student with the maximum possible reimbursement in case it is required.
What is my deadline to submit my requests to the GSC?
Conferences: Less than 1 month after presentation date.
Journals: After final revision process and just before paper goes into production/publishing (charges for previously published papers are not covered).
Dissertations: Less than 2 months after successful defense date.
